Friendly, informal atmosphere, clean rooms and good breakfast choice. Staff were very polite and helpful. Very good for getting to both bus and train stations. About 5 minutes walk to the bank of the Rhine and about 10 minutes walk to the main shops and eating area.
Decor was a little dark in places, making corridors look very gloomy.
Hotel located walking distance from train station. Clean, good breakfast.
Although staying at the 5th floor (once set of stairs without elevator), it was a bit noisy. As often happens in Europe, the room gets stuffy if you leave the windows closed, as it's set up for cold temperatures - but it is summer.
Location was good as we could walk into Koblenz.
We had motorbikes and were told we could park in a garage when we arrived we were told there was a nproblem with the car park and we had to leave bikes on the pavement outside, yet we could see cars in the car park so not sure what the problem was. Rooms small and a little dated, but clean and tidy so not a problem.
A very pleasant family run hotel with an excellent breakfast. 5 minute walk to Koblenz railway station and 20 minutes to city centre. A good stopover for those people travelling on Rhine or Moselle river cruises
Decent location close to city centre. Good price. On-site parking.
Somewhat unhelpful staff. When asked if he spoke English, the proprietor replied "sometimes". Room a little claustrophobic and in need of redecorating.
The hotel is close to the central railway station (the main reason why I chose it). The staff is very pleasant and helpful.
Many things in the hotel are old although in a good condition. First time I saw "hard" (not electronic) key for a hotel room in European Union. The bathroom was uncomfortable, besides I had to wait rather long for the water to become hot.
Everybody in the hotel was very polite
comparing the price and the room, it is good.
Breakfast is too simple, the elevator is too small.
Staff is kind and even i got arrived at night, he explained kindly what i asked. Also breakfast is really nice. its not very far from the train station and cruise station.
There is an exceptionally good breakfast buffet at this hotel. The very high standard of the rooms was way above our expectations. This is a three star hotel, and is clearly at the top of it's category. The helpfulness of the friendly family owners and staff made our three day stay a real pleasure.
Smoke drifted into our non-smoking room from the street forced us to close our windows, and the room became stuffy due to no air conditioning system.
The very warm welcome at reception, the friendly and helpful staff.
A very friendly family run hotel and excellent standards both in clean, comfortable rooms and a wide range of food for breakfast (everyones taste catered for)
the owners were really helpful and considerate. Breakfast was good, too. The hotel is close to the main rail and bus station. The cost was extremely reasonable, especially as we were there in early autumn.
The location was a very long not especially interesting walk into town with few buses. The rooms could have done with a little bit of redecoration/improvements but it was good value for money, nonetheless, and we had a marvellous time there.
Very pleasant and helful staff
A very friendly family run establishmnet. They were very helpful and polite. Our room was enormous, clean and most comfortable for a 3 day stay. Breakfast was included and was of a high standard. Internet was availble in the foyer and easy to use. Couldn't have done better as a small hotel suits us well. A 6 minute walk to the station, a bonus when travelling by train from place to place.
No complaints at all. It was perfect
